HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION
Dear Limerick Property Owner,
In 1998 the 118th session of the Maine State Legislature enacted significant property tax relief in the form of the Homestead Exemption. Last year a substantial number of property owners took advantage of this program and had their property taxes reduced.
This letter is intended for permanent Limerick residents who may be eligible for this program. To determine if you are qualified you should review the application provided. To receive this exemption for the current tax year you must return this application to the Town Office no later than April 1st
